Give some examples to approve that the doctor’s mind ran at high speed whereas his body crept behind, as he says it in line 45-46 in Vikram Seth’s poem “The Doctors Journal Entry for August 6,1945”

The doctor has given various hints in his narration to support his statement. He was quick to decide that they should go to the hospital. He also sent his wife ahead when he could walk no more. He was also trying to guess what might have happened. While walking, he also remembered his staff and wanted to help him too, though he had no way that moment. All these go along his statement that his mind was running at high speed. But it was his body that could take it no more due to the injuries he had received. So he sat down on his way to hospital and sent Yecko-san ahead of him.
