Muni’s goats were most probably sold to maintain his family and also carried off by jackals or cheetahs. Moreover there were thefts from over the next village.

years of drought, a great famine and an epidemic ruined Muni’s several cattle. At present he is left with two goats.

Jackals or cheetahs may sometimes carry them off. But sometimes it is just a theft from over in the next village.
