The poem ‘A Doctor’s Journal Entry for August 6, 1945’ is rich in symbolism. The silence all around indicates at how the stronger dominates over the weaker and makes him keep silence. The nude procession, the tilted house all are symbolic of the decay and destruction of human civilization.
