If I have to choose one quality from those Tagore talks about in his poetry, I would definitely go with ‘tireless striving’.

Hard work always pays off, they say. Another saying goes — “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard”. And there is good reason for those sayings. This is one quality that can be developed with some learning, practice and a change in attitude. And hard work is the only way to change our own fate as well as the whole country. This can actually solve many other problems.

But the question is how we can teach one to strive tirelessly? This is quite simple, I think. We just need to bring a change in the attitude in the first place. From the childhood, a man should be taught to dream and dream bigger. Reading biographies, inspiring life stories and seeing inspiring videos of successful persons can make us see some light in this regard. This is something the teachers and parents can develop in a child that can go a long way through his/her life.
