As mentioned in Chief Seattle’s Speech, what message has the White Chief sent to Seattle and the native people of America? Or, What has the White people done to the Native Americans?

The Great Chief has sent greetings of friendship and goodwill to Seattle and his people. He has also expressed his willingness to buy the native land of the Red Indian Americans and promised to extend his support to protect the native children and women from their ancient enemies like the Haidas and Tsimshians, if Seattle accepts this offer.

But as Seattle says, the Great Chief, and the white people at large, have always disregarded the land rights of his people and forced their way into the native lands. They have behaved rudely with their people and prevented them to cultivate their beliefs and cultural traditions.
