As the poet wishes, the minds of his countrymen are to be led forward to an ever-widening thought and action. Here though he primarily indicated at the common people of India, it is also applicable to the people of this entire world. According to the poet, the people should be broad-minded, highly thoughtful and active to make a nation progress. So he prays to the Almighty to lift people’s mind to a higher state.
