The narrator of the poem, the doctor strangely found out that his drawers and undershirt disappeared from his body, as a part of the miracle what was happening in that otherwise calm and beautiful morning. They were all burnt in the flashes of the sudden explosion. To the doctor it was ‘weird’ enough, as it was not something he had ever experienced before and he could not find any apparent reason for that.
